Sharni Vison, who is an American-born Australian dancer and actress, was born 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. Her first appearance was in the year the year 2001. She had a smaller role on the show Home and Away. The casting agent wanted to cast her in one of the leading characters. Although she did try out for the role, it was not selected. The role was instead set in the series in the role of Cassie Turner, a troubled girl who lives in foster care. Fans and critics of the show were awed by her performance.
