Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress well known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in when she made her stage debut. She then acted in a number of Broadway performances before she was an international star with Li'l Abner in 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina in the same year. Louise began with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. It was an enormous success, and Louise earned her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's pupil. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious that reflected her reputation as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she also became a well-known director on popular TV shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Her birth date was the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. When she was three, her family relocated her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down in Toronto ever since.
