Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American actor, model, and singer who hails from St. Louis Missouri. The most famous of her roles is her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the leader of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. The music of Momsen is used in television and film shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, is the daughter of an elder sister Sloane Momsen. She was a dancer at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. She began acting professionally aged three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake 'n Bake. Momsen's career came to a slow halt for three years before she was offered a lead role in the WB series Misconceptions. Momsen was also a part of Saving Shiloh in 2006 at the time. In addition, she was one of the three top candidates for Hannah Montana's title part. But, Miley Cyrus was awarded the role.
